NOW HOSTING AN IN-PERSON SALE

June 3, 2023 from 9am to 12pm an In-Person Sale will take place at the Institute during the pick-up window. Staff and volunteers will help consult on plant selection and answer questions. Native plant books and baked goods will be available for purchase. 

 

Pre-ordering is highly recommended as plant inventory is limited and may not be available at the In-Person Sale

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is a nature center, environmental education center, and biological field station located on 850 acres with nine miles of hiking trails nine miles south of Hastings, Michigan. The Institute’s mission is to inspire appreciation and stewardship of our environment.

The Institute's Visitor Center is open to the public Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Masks are recommended, but not required.
 

Institute trails are open daily, dawn to dusk.
